WHAT IS THE SWAG RACE?

@blackfitlove presents The Swag Race Run for the Culture, a movement to promote healthy and loving Black communities through fitness and economic empowerment. Help us commit to economic progression and cultural expression by running our monthly race. Keep our community coming back to circulate the black dollar amongst our businesses.

  • First Saturday of the month (unless otherwise noted)

  • Outdoor market featuring Black artists, businesses and entrepreneurs

  • 5K (3.1 miles) race at Freedom Park in Atlanta

  • Free, healthy, fun, and family-friendly

Our movement is in reverence to the once flourishing Greenwood, Tulsa "Black Wall Street." Burned to the ground in 1921 during the Tulsa Race Massacre, Black Wall Street was considered one of the most affluent African American communities during the early part of the 20th century, and a symbol of the power of circulating the Black dollar.
